Grape Escape

Rotary Club of Issaquah proudly presents the "Grape Escape 2008"... A Taste of the Yakima Valley

After just two years the Grape Escape has already become a great Community event. Attendees can enjoy delectable food prepared especially for each years fanciful wine sampling.

Following up on first years success, the 2008 event featured wines from prominent wineries in the Yakima Valley with many varieties to suit everyones tastes.

Info on the 2009 event will be posted later this year so plan to bring your friends and enjoy excellent wine, outstanding food, and conversation with folks in our community. Purchase some of the great wines you'll sample and bid on interesting silent auction items focused on wine, food, entertainment travel, and leisure items. Don't miss out on this fun evening!

Proceeds from the silent auction & wine sales go to the Issaquah Rotary Scholarship fund which helps graduating seniors in the Issaquah School District take the next step in their college education. Each year the Rotary Club of Issaquah has donated about $10,000 in scholarships to graduates from Issaquah, Tiger Mountain and Liberty High Schools with a significant portion of those funds coming from our 'Grape Escape' event.

2008 wines were from:
